About Terry Straker
As a marketing specialist, Terrance has worked with both emerging and established franchise organizations providing franchise marketing, sales, and advertising expertise, as well as franchise advertising fund management services.
As the advertising and marketing manager for Microplay Videogames™, Terrance helped them set in place the foundation that would propel their franchise growth from four to over one hundred stores worldwide.
He has managed advertising and marketing budgets up to seven figures + annually.
Terry has published articles in The National Post, Toronto Star, as well as Canadian Business Franchise magazine. He has also created and authored numerous Canadian business operations manuals.
Terry founded, owned and eventually sold a metro retail bedding group, a solid wood furniture manufacturing company, a home shelving and R.T.A furniture business, and was involved in the sale of his family member’s 30-year print distribution business.
